Executive coaching and development

Participants will identify, develop and improve on the leadership enabling competencies that, if focused on, will naturally lead them to the leadership growth they’re looking for.

This could include developing enabling competencies such as:

  • Emotional Intelligence
  • Listening skills
  • Communication skills
  • Influencing and Negotiation skills
  • Consulting skills
  • Delegation skills
  • How to lead effectively and enable others to work more effectively
  • Developing a capacity to demonstrate and live the fundamental values of your organisation.

It is interesting to note that often the senior executives of an organization believe that a problem has arisen because of one particular reason whilst on unpacking and further investigation it very often turns out to be totally unrelated to what the senior executives had been led to believe or that they have observed.

It is always better to engage an independent arbitrator to extract, investigate and decipher the truth of what is actually occurring at the coalface.

Coaching Executives in this area is always challenging, however very rewarding. It may mean a total change of behaviour pattern or at the very least thought process depending on the issues at hand.

Albert Einstein stated that “doing the same thing over and over, and expecting a different result, is the definition of insanity”……..truer words were never spoken. However so many company executives fall into this category for one reason or another.

Having an “independent” observer is the only way to get to the crux of the behaviour and develop and coach the executive in positive ways so that change can occur.

Letting go of a behaviour pattern is never easy, nor is the awareness of the behaviour pattern. We cannot change something about our business or ourselves until we have awareness of it.

Awareness is the key to professional and personal success.
